A leaking toilet shut-off valve or supply line is one of those things that's easy to ignore - until it isn't. What starts as a small drip can work its way into your baseboards, warp your flooring, or quietly waste hundreds of gallons of water. We got a call from a homeowner in Keller with exactly this situation, and we got out there to take care of it the right way.

Here's what we were working with - a failing shut-off valve and a supply line that had seen better days. Old compression fittings corrode over time, and when they start leaking, the fix isn't just tightening things down. You need fresh parts installed correctly so the connection is actually sealed and reliable.

We swapped in a new 3/8" braided stainless steel supply line and got the shut-off valve sorted out. Braided stainless is the standard for a reason - it holds up far better than the old plastic-lined lines that tend to crack and fail without much warning. Once everything was reconnected and tested, there were no drips, no seeping, nothing.

This is the kind of repair that takes a fraction of the time to fix compared to the water damage it can cause if it's left alone. We do this type of work all the time across Keller and the surrounding DFW area - toilet repairs, supply line replacements, shut-off valve swaps. Whether it's a slow drip or something more obvious, it's always worth getting it looked at sooner rather than later.
