A slow drain or gurgling toilet might not seem urgent - until it is. On this Colleyville job, the homeowner had a clogged sewer main that needed to be cleared, and once we got into it, we could see the flange and wax seal needed to go too. That combination is a recipe for bigger problems down the road if you let it sit.

We ran the drain snake through the clean-out outside the home to break up and clear the blockage in the main line. That's the outdoor work you see happening along the foundation - navigating tight spots around shrubs and landscaping to get the cable where it needs to go. It's not glamorous, but getting that line cleared is the first step before anything else can be fixed properly.

Inside the bathroom, we pulled the old toilet, swapped out the failed flange, and installed a fresh wax seal. The old wax seal that came out was noticeably deteriorated - that kind of wear leads to sewer gas getting into the home and, eventually, leaks at the base of the toilet. Replacing it while we were already in there just makes sense.

Here's the thing with sewer issues - the visible symptom is almost never the whole story. A clogged main can put back-pressure on every fixture in your home. A bad wax seal left alone turns into a flooring problem, then a subfloor problem. Doing both repairs at once means this homeowner doesn't have to worry about calling us back out for the same issue next month.

If something in your home's plumbing doesn't seem right - slow drains, weird smells, a toilet that rocks slightly when you sit on it - those are worth paying attention to. Small signs usually mean something is happening underneath that you can't see yet.
