Not every leak comes from a worn fitting or an aging joint. Sometimes the culprit is a lot smaller than you'd expect. In this case, a mouse had chewed through a water line - and what started as a slow, hidden leak turned into a serious problem fast.

That's the thing about hidden leaks. By the time you notice something is wrong, the damage has usually already been building for a while. A spike in your water bill, a drop in pressure, a soft spot on the wall - these aren't things to sit on. They're signs that something needs to be found and fixed now.

We got in, tracked down the source, and handled the pipe repair and replacement to get everything back to working order. These kinds of calls are exactly why we take emergency leak repair seriously. You can't always plan for it, and waiting only makes it worse.

Rodent damage to plumbing is more common than most people realize - especially in crawl spaces, attics, and wall cavities where pipes run through areas that don't get checked often. Mice will chew through PEX tubing without a second thought, and the insulation around those spaces can hide moisture for a long time before it shows up somewhere visible.

If something feels off with your water - whether it's the pressure, the bill, or something you noticed on a wall or ceiling - don't talk yourself out of getting it checked. The sooner a leak gets found, the less it has a chance to spread.
